So here's how Eva's birthday shook out. We had a great day together. When she woke up we had her presents scattered throughout the house with
paw prints on them. Then she'd run from present to present shouting, "a Clue!! a Clue!!" Can you guess who's a big Blue's Clues fan? Then we spent the day making cookies, watching her favorite shows, playing in my make-up, playing in the yard. Friends came over to wish her a happy birthday. Here's Eva and Lydia with her favorite present of all, the high heels, that have already made a name for themselves on this blog a few times... Then later that night we took her to
Chucky Cheese for the first time. She was so excited to go b/c she's seen the ads for it on PBS but was totally freaked out the entire time and for some reason can't stop talking about it.

We saved the cake for this week when Grandma and Grandpa Morris were going to be here. Eva requested an "aquamarine" cake of all colors so here's my attempt at it.

Oddly familiar?

Here's last year right before she puked on her cake. This year it was the flame on the candle that upset her so much.

One of these years she'll get used to it. At least year she tried the frosting. Happy Birthday, Eva Dear! We love you so much!

I love the clues idea on all the presents. Coleman has become a huge Blue's Clues fan too. As you can imagine he LOVES living in Clemson and seeing clues everwhere we drive.
