Devin decided to spend a night in the dorms on Thursday night with Taylor. Taylor just happens to live in the same dorm room that Devin lived in so Devin was able to relive old BYU-times eating at the Cannon center and going to classes with Taylor on Friday. We met up with them at the BYU Bookstore. When Eva heard she was going to BYU it was like the kid was going to Disneyland. She was so beyond excited. And the fact that it was just a bookstore didn't seem to bother her. She ran around pointing out all the Y's and paw prints. Just today she saw a kid with a BYU shirt and said, "It's BYU Cougars!". She can recognize the BYU logos anywhere, all of them.
Lucy Goose.
We also went to the Carl Bloch exhibit at the MOA (don't miss this if you are in the area, you'll kick yourself every time you see a Carl Bloch painting in Sunday School which is more often that you might think). Then everyone met in the afternoon at the Wilkinson center and we had a heated bowling competition.
Uncle Taylor and dinner at Zupa's. I love Provo dining. I'm not kidding. (Check out Whitney's cute boyfriend! I can say that b/c I'm pretty sure he doesn't read my blog.)
On Saturday we went to the BYU-Air Force game where BYU easily won. Eva loved to sing the fight song along with 22,000 other BYU fans. Her favorite word is now "Jimmer". (But her favorite phrase is "Don't tell Mommy". Hmmmmmmm.)
That night we had an Iron Chef competition at Aunt Patty's. And the secret ingredient? ORANGES. We split into teams and planned our appetizer and dessert (we collaborated on the main course, Orange Chicken, thank you Panda Express, we didn't want to mess Patty and Hal's kitchen up too bad)and then headed to the grocery store to buy our ingredients. We went back out to Patty and Hal's where we began our competition.
After much deliberation Team 2 won by 2 points.
That night Morris family all left and we headed up to Aunt Gayle's for some Palmer Girls time. Angie made us all this sweet food and said we were going to "eat like Italians" which meant all day. It was awesome. I wasn't going to post this pic but I just can't help myself.
Where it all began...

We had so much fun! Thanks so much for driving up for the visit. It was so fun to all be together at Disneyland (aka BYU). Devin has done a commendable job of brainwashing Eva to be a true BYU fan.
Loved all the pics! Hilarious!
Oh my gosh! What an awesome reunion and family! Okay, that pic of Devin at the end is absolutely halarious, and I'm glad he got to live the college life for a moment again.
That first pic is cracking me up, and so it the last pic of Devin! What a fun reunion!
What a fun family you have! Just sad you weren't at "Disneyland" the same time we were---would have been fun to meet up.
So, don't know how I missed that you guys were married in Mt Timpanogos, we were too.
Oh and LOVE the Devin nursing shot--if only he could, LOL!
You guys are so creative with the iron chef competitions - I am impressed with the meals you come up with!!!
Wow. What a fun trip! You guys are way more creative for family fun then we are! Those meals were amazing. All those BYU pics, made me a bit nostalgic...bowling in the Wilk...those were the days.
