Blessings for the Twins and a Prayer for Erica

Living so close to family definitely has its perks. Last weekend we were able to go to the blessings of Annalise and Erica, our newest additions, in Chapel Hill, NC. The blessings were beautiful and Cameron did a great job. These babies are so sweet and nice. I just love holding them and coaxing little baby smiles out of them.

Proud parents, Teresa (my sister) and Cameron.

My mom and dad came out for the weekend. Here's my mom with our Cafe Rio dinner. Teresa makes a mean Cafe Rio. It's crazy how much I miss that place. Or any good Mexican food for that matter.

2 days after the blessing Erica went in for heart surgery. She is such a strong little baby and did really well considering. She's still in the hospital and is making progress but she still has a long way to go before she will be discharged. My parents were able to stay there during the surgery to help out with Annalise and they said it was so hard to look at Erica all hooked up to machines with tubes coming out all over the place. I can't imagine how difficult this must be for her parents. But they are all handling it well and we continue to pray that there will be no complications and Erica can come home soon.

What sweet babies! What a blessing you were able to be a part of their blessings and that your Mom is able to help with Annalise. Our prayers go out to Teresa, Cameron, and baby Erica. I hope all continues to go well.
