 Welcome to 2013!  We've moved!  So here's the story.  As some of you know we did the house hunt last summer and almost bought a house but it was a total nightmare.  We just couldn't settle on anything and all the offers we made fell through.  Then about 2 months ago a town home down the street came on the market at an amazing price.  It was listed without a basement but I knew it had one because of the location.  It was a foreclosure and I don't think the bank really knew what was going on.  Anyway, we decided to put in an offer and it just kind of fell into place.  Or plan is to live here and fix it up then rent it out when we decide to move.  Simple enough, right?  Turns out moving in general is a total pain, especially when it is an "as-is" house.  Life was kind of a zoo for awhile while we were fixing everything from the hot water to the fridge.  We painted from top to bottom and re-floored the entire place.  But it is so nice to have an extra floor to spread out a bit.  And the rest of the town home is the same so I don't think my kids even realized we moved.  haha....  My mom came out during the moved and totally saved us.  It is impossible to get anything done with kids around.  We basically would be living in the parking lot with all our stuff dumped on the lawn if it weren't for her help. 

This is the only picture I have of her from the trip.  Soph climbed into bed with her poor jet-lagged grandma and actually lay there for a good ten minutes. 

 This is a pile of elastics I found in the corner of Sophie's pack-n-play when I was packing.  She rips out her pigtails during her naps.  I always wondered what happened to those elastics. 

 Here's a pic of my new kitchen.  Love the color?  I just painted it a dark gray color and put up a new light fixture.  I love it.  For some reason the pics didn't upload so you'll have to wait for the big reveal. 

On of my favorite things about this house is the view from my bedroom window.  I'm up on the third level so I have this beautiful view of the treetop.  We get to see the sun rising every morning. 

 We had a couple snow storms this month.  I loved the view.

 Soph was super mad about having to wear boots and a coat.  Yes, that is her minnie mouse dress.

 My poor little rag muffin kids.  Now we're onto the Snow White dress.  I think I need to buy some snow clothes.

 This poop on a stick is actually peanut butter/avocado/chocolate pudding frozen into poopsicles, I mean popsicles. 

 Eva is loving giving me the "cool" poses lately.  She posed for the gymnastics pic then said, "Mom, did I look cool?"  haha.  I love these kids.   Hopefully I still do a week from now on our way back from Disneyworld.
