In April we took a week off and headed down to California. My parents had just purchased a big new trailer and we wanted to try it out. The first place we stopped was Carlsbad Beach. We had an amazing campsite on the bluffs overlooking the ocean. We had fun playing at the beach and visiting nearby La Jolla Cove and all the sea lions. Devin's brother Taylor came with us as well. It was fun to have him provide the entertainment and help wrangle kids. Natalie, Dallan and Alice joined us at our second campsite at Mission Beach. (Campland by the Bay, the ultimate party campground.) Other fun things we did there included SeaWorld, Old Town San Diego, the Mormon Battalion Center, swimming and kayaking in La Jolla.
