Beach Day! I don't remember all the names but they were amazing. The first had fabulous sand and waves. The second beach was all sectioned off by trees so you really felt all alone out there. The snorkeling was awesome as well.
The next day we did a trip up the island and around to Hilo. We saw lots of waterfalls. My kids loved this one the most.
We stopped to see the damage from the most recent lava flow. The lava flow is still active. The residents are still waiting to see if their town is going to be slowly devoured.
We drove from Hilo all the way down the coast, stopping at the tidal pools and black sands beach along the way.
