It's Official!

Devin has been working at his new job for a week now.  He is loving it.  He has so many connections to the Boise community and especially the area developers.  He felt like this was the missing piece to his job in Richmond.  We feel so blessed that this is all coming together now.  Here is an internal email that went out when Devin started his new job.  I have an awesome husband.

Eastern and Western Idaho Teams,

We are pleased to announce that Devin Morris has joined Zions Bank as a Relationship Manager for the Idaho Commercial Real Estate Group, based at Eighth & Main and reporting to Wes Jost. His first day in the office was Tuesday, April 1.

In this role, Devin will be responsible for generating and servicing commercial real estate loans and developing lending relationships in the Magic Valley and Wood River Valley, as well as providing support as needed to clients in the Treasure Valley.

Devin has more than a decade of experience in banking and real estate and most recently was a Commercial Real Estate relationship manager at Wells Fargo in Richmond, Va. He managed relationships with private commercial real estate developers and investors seeking construction/mini-perm financing to build, acquire, expand and rehabilitate properties. He also was responsible for underwriting, structuring, negotiation, origination and due diligence of short- and mid-term mortgage loans.

Devin worked for Zions Bank in Salt Lake City as an assistant relationship officer for Commercial Lending and Residential Builder Financing from October 2005 through June 2007.

Devin is a native of Boise and a graduate of Capital High School. He earned a master’s degree in Real Estate Development from Clemson University in South Carolina and a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Finance from the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.

Please join me in welcoming Devin to the Zions Bank Idaho team!

Best,

Nicola McIntosh

That is an impressive resume! Go Devin! He pretty much just walked in there like a boss. I'm so glad that he is loving his job and it sounds like he will be very successful there. Hopefully they will give him time to take off for some football games :)!
