Eva's Silly Girl Throw-back

These photos were taken exactly 3 years ago when Eva was almost 4.  On Sunday Eva realized she was wearing the exact same dress with the same hairdo.  We had fun recreating some of her funny faces. 

Hawaii Time!

We finally made it to our long-awaited Hawaii trip.  It was so exciting boarding that plane.  Soon enough we touched down in Kona.  We stayed at a beautiful condo on the Kohala coast.  The first day we were there we went to church and explored the northern tip of the island.  (Pololu Valley Lookout, Hawi for sushi and window shopping, POG shaved ice and whale watching.)  Day two we drove south to Kealakekua Bay.  We fed sea turtles then sea kayaked across the bay towards the snorkeling reefs.  On the way we kept company with schools of baby dolphins jumping and spinning in the air.  It was incredible.  Then we headed south for more snorkeling at 2-step and a stop at the Painted Church.  I'd say our trip is off to a great start!

Christmas 2014

 Some of this is on my Insta feed but below are pics of gingerbread houses with the Martins, the ward live nativity, Eva's piano recital and kindergarten musical (Christmas at the OK Corral), and decorating Grandma Joanie's tree with Auntie Whitney.

 Then we drove 10 hours through Nevada to get to Las Vegas for Christmas.  It was a rare occasion with all the Palmers were together.

 Katie had her birthday while we were there and wanted to have a Frozen themed party for all the little girls complete with frozen crafts and a bounce castle.  It was pretty awesome.

 We took family pics at our favorite airplane hangar, visited the Container Park and the High Roller ferris wheel in Las Vegas.
